Terms of service
Effective October 5, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and OneGryd Services Limited (“we”, “us”), which operates iWalk: the website and application at iwalk.space, the iWalk Capture Chrome extension, the iWalk desktop app, and the iWalk API (together, the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use iWalk for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have the authority to do so.
Your account
You must be at least 16 and give accurate information when you sign up. Keep your password and API keys safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account and in workspaces you administer. Tell us promptly at privacy@iwalk.space if you think your account has been misused.
Your content
You own the screenshots, recordings, text and other material you put into iWalk (“your content”). You give us permission to store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to run the service for you, including showing published walks to the people you share them with. You can delete your content at any time.
You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights to capture and share it. Before recording, make sure screens do not show personal information, secrets or confidential material you are not allowed to share. The extension’s masking and the Studio’s redaction tools help, but you are responsible for checking what you publish. The desktop app records everything on the chosen screen and does not mask anything automatically.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use iWalk to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy;
- create walks that impersonate another company or person, collect passwords or payment details under false pretences, or otherwise deceive viewers;
- distribute malware, spam, or harassing, hateful or sexually explicit material;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, get around plan limits or rate limits, or access other customers’ data;
- resell the service or use it to build a competing product.
We may remove content, suspend accounts or disable published walks that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan has the limits shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe; the Team plan is charged per seat.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing; you keep paid features until the end of the period you have paid for, and the workspace then moves to the Free plan.
- Fees are not refunded for partial periods, except where the law requires it. Prices exclude taxes, which are added where applicable.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; the new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
The Chrome extension, desktop app and API
The extension, desktop app and API are part of the service and covered by these terms. The extension and desktop app record only after you start a recording, as described in our privacy policy. API access is subject to rate limits, and you must keep API keys secret.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. When you publish walks and collect information from viewers, you decide what to collect and are responsible for having the right to collect it and for telling viewers how you use it.
Changes to the service
We improve iWalk continually and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you pay for, or stop offering the service, we will give you reasonable notice and the chance to export your content.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using iWalk and delete your workspaces at any time, or ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you do not pay, or if the law requires it. When an account or workspace ends, we delete its content as described in the privacy policy.
Disclaimers
We work to keep iWalk reliable and secure, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100 if you have not paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
If a third party makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Saskatchewan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the effective date above. For significant changes, we will tell account holders by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use iWalk after that means you accept the new terms.
